Saint Thomas - Center for Military Veterans, Service Members and Families Scholarship

The purpose of this scholarship fund is to provide one-time scholarship monies for an eligible University of Southern Mississippi Student-Veteran who earned the Combat InfantrymanÇs Badge while serving in Afghanistan or Iraq. To be eligible for this scholarship, the Student-Veteran must be an honorably discharged military veteran or in the process of transitioning out of the military, GI Educational Fund recipient, recipient of the U.S. Army Combat InfantrymanÇs Badge (must be verified via a DD Form 214) and enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at The University of Southern Mississippi. Consideration will be given to GPA (if applicable), campus and community service. Student must present military discharge papers (DD-214) or proof of eligibility to the USM Center for Military Veterans, Service Members and Families.
