Joseph F. Boardman, Jr. Excellence in Banking Scholarship Endowment

The purpose of this fund is to award a scholarship to a student majoring in Finance with an emphasis in Banking and Finance. Preference shall be given to a junior, senior or graduate student who exhibits outstanding scholastic achievement as well as civic and community leadership. Preference shall be given to students from South Mississippi who express a desire to pursue a professional career in banking in Mississippi. If no student from South Mississippi meets the criteria, the scholarship will be awarded to another qualified student.
