University-Based Agreement: VEX Scholarship

The Robotics Education & Competition (REC) Foundation seeks to increase student interest and involvement in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) by engaging students in hands-on, sustainable and affordable curriculum-based robotics engineering programs. The University of Southern Mississippi awards two (2), $2,000 scholarships to incoming freshman students admissible for the fall semester at USM who have competed in the Robotics Education Competition. The VEX Scholarship is a one-time, non-renewable award and administered through the Office of Undergraduate Scholarships. The VEX Scholarship must be used for costs associated with enrollment at The University of Southern Mississippi. Scholarships will be awarded for a full year in evenly divided increments (fall/spring).

  1. This application is for the VEX Scholarship. The VEX Scholarship is for high school senior participants in the Robotics Education Competition.

    To be considered, you must be fully admitted to The University of Southern Mississippi and complete and submit this application, including supporting documentation of participation in the Robotics Education Competition, by July 1.
