National Merit Scholarship: Finalist
The National Merit Scholarship: Finalist is available to students the fall semester immediately following high school graduation. Students must be admitted to the University and submit documentation by the stated deadlines. Visit usm.edu/scholarships for details regarding eligibility. This scholarship is equivalent to tuition, campus housing, meal plan, and a semester book stipend for four years. Students are also eligible for a one-time, study-abroad stipend.

To be considered, you must be fully admitted to The University of Southern Mississippi by December 1 and complete and submit this application, including supporting documentation for designation-based award, by May 1.
