Carter Ferguson Memorial Scholarship

The purpose of this fund is to award a two-year scholarship to a third year Honors student, with a minimum GPA of 3.25, in a non-teaching and cross-disciplinary major and minor (for example, a major in Physics and a minor in English Literature, or a major in Geology and a minor in Economics). The recipient must be a native and legal resident of the state of Mississippi. Preference should be given to veterans of the United States armed forces over other applicants, but prior or current military service is not required for eligibility.
