Sid and Laura Evans Scholarship Endowment

The purpose of this fund is to award a scholarship to an incoming freshman with financial need and a 3.0 high school GPA who is a native of Mississippi. This scholarship may be renewed up to three additional years so long as the recipient maintains a 2.5 GPA. The financial need criterion does not have to be met for the student’s remaining three academic years. Preference may be given to a descendant of Thomas E. Lee. If a student with financial need cannot be identified, the financial need criterion may be waived.
