James O. "Buck" and Juanita Payne Scholarship Endowment

The purpose of this fund is to award a scholarship to a student from Newton County who has a minimum 2.5 GPA. First preference shall be given to a student majoring in Nursing or Child and Family Studies. Second preference shall be given to a student majoring in Education or any degree program within the College of Business and Economic Development. Preference shall also be given to a student with financial need who participates in extracurricular activities. The student must be a United States citizen or a permanent resident.
