Elmo Lang Memorial Scholarship Endowment

The purpose of this fund is to award a scholarship to an incoming freshman from Mississippi with a grade point average of at least 3.0 who submits a 300-word essay describing his/her activities and community involvement in high school. The student must also demonstrate financial need, although not necessarily as defined by federal guidelines. If a student with financial need cannot be identified, the financial need criterion may be waived. This scholarship may not be awarded to any direct descendant of Elmo Lang.
