Clarence and Helen Carter Excellence in Nursing Scholarship Endowment

The purpose of this fund is to award a scholarship to a student majoring in Nursing with first preference given to a graduate of Ocean Springs High School and second preference given to a student from Jackson County. Preference may also be given to an incoming student and to a student with financial need. The student must have a 2.5 GPA and plan to be enrolled full-time. If no student from Ocean Springs High School or Jackson County meets the criteria, preference may be given to a graduate of Long Beach High School or Harrison County. This scholarship may be renewed each year as long as the student continues to meet the criteria.
