John and Jan Polk Scholarship Endowment

The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship to a deserving student attending The University of Southern Mississippi with preference given to employees of Polk’s Meat Products, Inc. dependents enrolled in any major. The employee must have worked for a minimum of two years with Polk’s Meat Products, Inc. If a Polk’s employee’s dependent is not chosen, the scholarship may be awarded to a student enrolled in Hospitality and Tourism Management with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
