Jude-DePree Scholarship Endowment

The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship to a student who is a daughter or son of a janitorial or maintenance worker whose primary job is to provide custodial or maintenance services at the University. This endowment specifically excludes any person categorized as “administration” or “leadership team.” The student must be enrolled for a minimum of twelve credit hours per semester and must maintain a 2.5 GPA to remain eligible each year. The recipient shall receive the scholarship each year in which he/she meets the minimum eligibility requirements until he/she graduates from The University of Southern Mississippi. The daughter or son shall not be eligible to receive the scholarship in any year the parent ceases to be a janitorial or maintenance worker whose primary job is to provide custodial or maintenance services at The University of Southern Mississippi. In any year in which no student is eligible under the terms of the endowment, no scholarship shall be awarded.
