Shelby F. Thames and Shirley D. Thames Scholarship for High Ability Students Endowment - Chemistry

The purpose of this fund is to provide scholarships exclusively to incoming high-ability students whose major is Polymer Science and Engineering, Chemistry or Biochemistry in the College of Science and Technology. Recipients should include entering freshman, community college transfers or new graduate students. This scholarship may be renewed for additional years for the student as determined by the Director of the School of Polymers and High Performance Materials and the Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry in the College of Science and Technology. This opportunity is the portion allocated to Chemistry and Biochemistry students.
