Military Order of the Purple Heart Annual Scholarship

The purpose of this fund is to award a scholarship to eligible Military Order of the Purple Heart recipients, and/or their spouse or children. To be eligible for this scholarship, the students must be a Military Order of the Purple Heart recipient military veteran or spouse or child of a military veteran, and be enrolled at The University of Southern Mississippi as an undergraduate or graduate student. Consideration will be given for GPA, campus involvement, community service and USM Student Veterans of America Chapter engagement. Students must provide military discharge papers (DD-214) or proof of eligibility for having been awarded the Purple Heart.
