USS Biloxi (CL-80) Scholarship

The purpose of this fund is to award an annual scholarship of $1,000 to a graduating senior from Biloxi High School, Biloxi, Mississippi, who has met all admission requirements of USM as an entering freshman. The recipient shall be selected under the procedures established by the administration of Biloxi High School. In addition, the fund will be used to award a second scholarship of $1,000 to each recipient provided he or she satisfactorily completes the academic requirements of his or her freshman year and remains enrolled for his or her sophomore year at USM. It is the intent of the Association to award the annual scholarship of $1,000 to the recipient for his or her junior and senior year of study at USM, providing the expendable interest accrued annually is available and in keeping with the USM Foundation spending policy.
