Hoagan Bramlett Endowed Scholarship

The purpose of this fund is to provide a scholarship to a first-year declared Theatre major who exemplifies Hoagan Bramlett’s values regarding acting, directing and theatre. These values include a love of the arts, honesty, humility, integrity, teamwork and cooperation, compassion, industriousness and respect for all persons and things. The recipient will be expected to represent these values in daily life as well as in theatre work. Applicants for this scholarship will be required to audition and to write an essay entitled, “What Theatre Means in My Life and What I Can Mean to Theatre.” First consideration will be given to Oak Grove High School graduates. Selection will be made by individuals designated as representation of the Bramlett family in consultation with the Theatre faculty. See fund agreement for other criteria.
