Southern Miss Emergency Relief Fund - Student Relief Scholarship

The Student Relief Scholarship Program was established to provide relief, intended to offset educational expenses, to eligible students of The University of Southern Mississippi who have suffered an emergency or catastrophic situation that has caused a temporary, sudden financial burden (e.g., natural disaster, family crisis or acute illness). Students enrolled at USM at the time of the hardship are encouraged to apply.

Scholarship amounts may vary and are based on the loss/hardship suffered, as well as the available funds. This scholarship is intended to assist with educational expenses (e.g., tuition and fees, room and board, textbooks, etc., so that the student may continue his or her academic pursuits.
