Military Order of the Purple Heart Scholarship - Center for Military Veterans, Service Members and Families

The purpose of this scholarship fund is to provide one-time scholarship monies for eligible Military Order of the Purple Heart recipients/students and/or their spouse/children. To be eligible for this scholarship, student must be a Military Order of the Purple Heart recipient military veteran (or spouse/child of a military veteran) and enrolled at The University of Southern Mississippi as an undergraduate or graduate student. Consideration will be given for GPA, campus involvement, community service and USM Student Veterans of America Chapter engagement. Students must provide military discharge papers (DD-214) or proof of eligibility for having been awarded the Purple Heart.
