Freshman Designation-Based: Boys/Girls State Scholarship (Mississippi Residents Only)
Mississippi Residents Only: The Freshman Designation-Based: Boys/Girls State Scholarship is available to students the fall semester immediately following high school graduation. Students must be admitted to the University and submit documentation by the stated deadlines. Students should only apply if they attended Boys/Girls State and have official certificate of participation.

- This application is for the Freshman Designation-Based Scholarship: Boys/Girls State Scholarship. Freshman designation-based scholarships are for students enrolling the fall semester immediately after high school graduation.
To be considered, you must be fully admitted to The University of Southern Mississippi by December 1 and complete and submit this application, including supporting documentation for designation-based award, by July 1.
Official documentation can include documentation verifying Boys/Girls State participation. Please submit documentation for the designation-based scholarship(s) below.
