Mary Loraine "Peets" Buffett Scholarship Endowment
The purpose of this fund is to award a scholarship to a full-time freshman student with financial need from Mississippi with a minimum 3.0 GPA in any major in the College of Arts and Letters. If no student from Mississippi can be found, the scholarship may be awarded to a student who meets the other criteria. The student must submit an essay or other creative work to demonstrate a strong desire in their field of anticipated study. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years if the student maintains a minimum 3.0 GPA in the College of Arts and Letters.
